Pray to End Abortion!
First of all, a very big thanks to all those who actively make Naples a very great pro-life town. Thanks to you, our Rose Garden/Pro-Life office has been a six day open event for two full years. With so many people out of town, we will close on Monday, and open at 11am instead of 10 for the summer. People are still needed who can put in some Rose Garden time. They will find it very rewarding and very Pro-life. Our Pro-life group could get into more active projects, also, with a little more help.
A special thanks, also, to our faithful donors. Even though the store operates a little in the black, and we are an entirely volunteer organization, the steady stream of donations helps with regular and surprise expenses.
Let’s not forget Naples’ abortion day. Every Monday an abortionist makes the trip down from Ft. Myers to our local Planned Parenthood. Sadly, recently, sixteen abortions were assumed from what the vigil people observed.
Since the Sept. 14th opening, there is always an organized presence there. For a while it was cold or rainy most days. Now it’s very hot and humid. With more people being there, there could be more shifts. If you want to join, car pool or drive over there and someone will direct you to safe parking. (Recently, added parking problems happened when some of the public spaces were filled, we assume, by PP people.) So many babies (and their mothers) are alive and happy today because of the sacrifice of those who are present at these killing places.
By the time you get this newsletter, action on the Florida ultrasound legislation will be history. Our legislators deserve our thanks and support for passing it. We will also know whether or not we have a pro-life governor. It didn’t impose an extra expense on women. Most abortion places were charging for ultrasound already, only for the abortionist’s use. The legislation was simply to give the woman the option to view it also. Remember, almost every woman who sees an ultrasound cancels the abortion. Tax payer funding of abortions was also forbidden by the same legislation.
Florida Right to Life has an excellent website (Google it) that covers all the facts and myths related to the ultrasound legislation.
County spending of 130 million dollars for the Jackson Medical Labs is the other local pro-life crisis. Beside the strange financial interest, ($130 million) there is a basic pro-life situation. Is killing embryos for human embryonic stem cells involved? (There is also a basic Catholic Religion issue, JAX developing contraceptives. Ave Maria, a quasi sponsor and JAX player, is Catholic!) Our research seems to show those possibilities. Mrs. Randy Engel contacted us. She is a veteran pro-lifer. Her website is www.uscl.info. Open up “press release” at the top and read for ten to twenty minutes and judge for yourself. Avewatch.com is another website focusing on this bizarre situation.
By the time you get this newsletter, this situation will probably be settled. We think, as a pro-life authority in Naples however, that regardless, you still are entitled to an informed opinion.
Our website is actionforlifenaples.com and our email is naplesprolife@centurylink.net

Thanks again and don’t stop praying!
